[mə'kliəmʊər], Micheál, irischer Schauspieler, Bühnenbildner und Dramatiker, * Cork 25. 10. 1899, ✝ Dublin 6. 3. 1978; seine rd. 300 irischen und englischen Produktionen am 1928 von ihm mitbegründeten Gate Theatre in Dublin bereicherten die irische Renaissance, gaben dem allgemeinen noch provinziellen irischen Theater internationalen Charakter.
